The residential tower The George, realized by BAM Wonen, is designed with a strong focus on greenery and sustainability, an approach that fits well with the vision of FURNS BV. Boom Landscaping has created a green design, developing fully prefabricated planters in collaboration with Van der Tol B.V. These planters, placed on the balconies, contribute to a green living environment for the residents.
The residential tower consists of twelve floors and contains a total of 624 meters of aluminum planters, in which more than 3,000 plants have been incorporated. These planters are provided with a high-quality Qualicoat class 2 powder coating, a mark that guarantees the quality of the metal coating in architecture.
"Together with FURNS, we have developed these planters specifically for this project so that they fit perfectly. Ready-made, including planting, they could be lifted directly onto the balconies with a crane."
