RENOVATION OF BOS AND LOMMERPLEIN

The renovation of Bos en Lommerplein in Amsterdam, carried out by Flora Nova, has transformed the square into a green and inviting space for the local community.
The work began at the end of 2020 and was completed in September 2021.

The renewed square now features new lighting, trees, planting beds, and wooden decks, resulting in the creation of walking paths, small squares, terraces, and play areas. The design, created by SUM Architecten, includes four large and two small islands and twelve planters. The goal was to create a sustainable and functional space without unnecessary luxury.
