AMADEIRO HOUSE 'S-HERTOGENBOSCH
As part of the redevelopment of the former KPN site in the center of 's-Hertogenbosch, a high-quality, publicly accessible inner garden has been created within the Amadeiro Urban Living project. This garden forms the green heart of the new city block and is designed with a clear reference to the historical courtyard structure of the city center of Den Bosch.
The combination of a green roof garden (1,600 m²) and ground level planting (1,000 m²) allows for a diverse planting plan, including space for trees, shrubs, and perennial plants. The garden is located above an underground parking garage and features a smart construction of substrate layers for optimal water management and root growth. Planting: A mix of native and ornamental species, focused on seasonal experience and ecological value.
Facility: The garden is equipped with benches integrated into corten steel retaining walls, paving with natural materials, and lighting tailored to both safety and ambiance. The garden is freely accessible and serves as a connecting link between the different building blocks. The garden was implemented by Du Pré Groenprojecten, where we were jointly responsible for the design and supply of custom outdoor furniture.

The inner gardens are designed as green oases within the complex. On behalf of Du Pré Groenprojecten, we have delivered a total of 258 meters of corten steel elements. These elements range from retaining walls to benches and not only add visual appeal,
but also serve as functional seating and meeting areas. Our sister company, AWOOD, has installed the benches in the inner gardens using sustainable hardwood. This creates a seamless connection between natural materials and modern design.
